Meet The Judges

Ayo Banton
Artist & Photographer
Leeds-born and London-based, Ayo works regularly across New York, Tokyo and LA, fusing bold visual language with music and culture. His clients include Sony, L’Oréal and the BBC, with work published in Dazed & Confused and Elle. His groundbreaking project The Evidence of Things Unseen explores the geometry of sound through sonic photography, including collaborations with EMI’s Bob Marley and The Beatles archive alongside Paul McCartney. Currently Artist-in-Residence at EMI (Universal Music Group), Ayo brings cultural depth and creative innovation to the panel.

Heather Stewart-Whyte
Supermodel, Icon & Advocate
One of the original 1990s supermodels, Heather Stewart-Whyte is renowned for her timeless beauty and trailblazing presence on the covers of Vogue, Elle, and Harper’s Bazaar, and on the runways of Chanel, Dior, and Versace. With a career spanning three decades, Heather has set the global standard for beauty and elegance — while using her platform to champion women’s confidence, independence, and self-worth. Her presence on the Miss South Yorkshire judging panel brings a global perspective to Sheffield, inspiring young women across the region to see that their potential is limitless, and that true beauty is about authenticity, confidence and empowerment.

David Donald
Model & Athlete
The face of Gillette’s global “The Best a Man Can Get” campaign for over a decade, David Donald has enjoyed a 30-year career with top international agency Models 1. A former windsurfing champion and now a professional kitesurfer, he combines calm, discipline and world-class modelling expertise with a strong voice for environmental causes and cleaner seas.

Chantal Epp
Entrepreneur, Disability Advocate & Music Innovator
A multi-award-winning entrepreneur, 2x World Champion Cheerleader, and founder of ClicknClear, Chantal Epp is reshaping music rights for choreographed sports and performing arts. Named one of the UK’s 50 Most Inspiring Women in Tech (2021), she has struck global deals with all major music labels and won the UN’s WIPO Global Award. A powerful disability inclusion advocate, Chantal has launched inclusive cheerleading teams in 18+ countries and is campaigning to bring the sport to the Paralympics. She embodies passion, innovation, and purpose.

Gary Cockerill
Celebrity Make-Up Artist & Beauty Visionary
A leading name in British beauty, Gary’s artistry spans stage, screen, editorial, red carpet, and advertising. Known for his innovation and precision, he has worked with clients including Eva Longoria, Isla Fisher, Michelle Visage, Daisy Lowe, Kelly Brook, Rachel Hunter, Boy George, and David Beckham. Originally from Doncaster, Gary is the author of two bestselling books and returns to South Yorkshire bringing both glamour and authenticity — as well as a few celebrity friends.

Alison Singleton
Former Miss UK & Miss Universe Finalist
A Sheffield-born talent, Alison rose to the national stage as Miss UK and Miss World finalist. With warmth, charisma, and insight, she ensures our titleholder has the confidence, grace, and ambition to succeed beyond the regional spotlight.

Tess Daly
Influencer & Disability advocate
Tess Daly is a leading voice in beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, celebrated for her creativity, authenticity and pioneering approach to inclusive beauty. Originally from Sheffield, Tess has built a vibrant community where she shares beauty tutorials, fashion inspiration, and styling advice — always centred on confidence, representation and accessibility.
Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2), Tess has redefined what beauty looks like in the digital age. Her collaborations with leading beauty and fashion brands have not only showcased her artistry, but also challenged industry norms by putting accessibility and individuality at the heart of the conversation.
As a judge, Tess brings unrivalled insight into how beauty can empower and transform. With her empathy, eye for detail, and passion for championing uniqueness, she inspires contestants to embrace not only how they look, but also the confidence, creativity, and presence that make them truly unforgettable.

Georgia Meacham
Model & Presenter
A British actor, model, and Deaf advocate with over 10 years dominating runways from London to Paris Fashion Weeks. Working internationally, she has collaborated with major brands including Apple, Stella McCartney, H&M, and L’Oréal. As an ambassador for RNID, the UK’s largest Deaf charity, she champions the Deaf community while breaking barriers and inspiring others to embrace their differences with confidence and pride.
